Exactly one week ago, I walked out to bat in the final of the US Masters T10 in Florida with Texas Chargers only three wickets down and needing 18 runs off four overs – a simple equation in any format these days, but in the crazy world of 10-over cricket, the easiest of strolls in the friendliest of parks. I worked a couple of singles. Thirteen off three overs and we were champions.
Then, all of a sudden, the ball started reverse-swinging around corners for the New York Warriors bowlers. I got one on the boot: lbw.
