During the week, Cricket Australia released a video of a blindfolded Steve Smith, challenged to identify his different bats by feel alone.
Six of his bats lie on a table, each one labelled with a number. While he usually has ten to choose from on any given tour, one of them is bat number 24. Steve Smith has a lot of bats. Once the blindfold is on he lifts them up one after the other, describing the feel, the balance and the width of the handle before giving the correct number every time. For the record, bat 24 is the one he often uses in the nets...
