Suits you: England’s new kits
THE ‘90s were a genre-spurring decade; grunge, dungarees, raves. Buried deep within my wardrobe somewhere is my old Essex shirt from around 1998.
I was reminded about it this week when the ECB released the new England strips for all three formats. The red and the blue, a good colour choice for the t20 shirt given my bias, but the design is stomach churning.
The shirt is like a throwback to some of those terrible kits in the American soccer league where there were more stripes on show than at a safari park denoted specifically to zebras!
