DARYN SMIT might not be the first name to spring to mind when discussing the world’s genuine all-rounders – but it should be.
The 33-year-old from Durban has spent the majority of this season behind the stumps for his new county, Derbyshire. But not too long ago he was re-writing the record books in the Lancashire League as a leg-spinner.
