I WAS at Old Trafford on Tuesday, working with the Professional Cricketers’ Association, and it was great to be there. You see so many familiar faces, it’s just brilliant.
What was even better to witness though was Jonny Bairstow’s knock – he seems to have nailed down that opening spot now, having replaced Jason Roy during the Champions Trophy.
Jonny has earned the right with his performances, and I’m delighted for him.
