I WAS very happy to see Tom Curran called into the team for the fourth Ashes Test, but I disagree with people calling him unlucky for the no-ball ‘wicket’ of David Warner. It’s not unlucky, it’s just careless.
Jimmy Anderson hardly ever bowls no-balls, and that’s because he’s in the nets getting his technique right and taking that into the middle. If you get your feet wrong by a foot at one end, then you’re over pitching by a foot at the other end.
