MOST people look forward to their bus pass when they reach 65, but not Graham Gooch. Instead, England’s foremost batsman across all formats will be traversing the country on the famous ‘Coast to Coast Walk’ to raise funds for the Graham Gooch Scholarship and the Professional Cricketers Association benevolent fund.
Gooch has just been made president of the PCA, which supports the interests of players past, present and future. A firm believer any office should bring responsibility, he has taken it upon himself to do this arduous 193-mile charity walk.
