INDIA had a week of mixed fortunes in New Zealand as they followed up victory in the fifth ODI with a recordbreaking 80-run t20 defeat in Wellington on Wednesday.
Rohit Sharma’s men were bowled out for just 139 after the home side had set them a target of 220, with Tim Siefert hitting 84 in a man-of-the-match display.
New Zealand will take a 1-0 lead into today’s second match in Auckland and remain unbeaten against India on home soil.
