AFTER a week that has been dominated by off-field distractions, namely Alex Hales and that second positive drugs test, England will finally get their World Cup preparations underway in Ireland today.
This one-off one-day international will be the first of eight matches – including Sunday’s T20 against Pakistan and two warm-up matches – before Eoin Morgan’s men open the tournament against South Africa at The Oval on May 30.
