ADAM Hollioake is one of the few England one-day captains who knows what winning a tournament actually feels like.
The former Surrey great skippered England to victory in the Sharjah Cup – a forerunner to the ICC Champions Trophy – in 1997.
At the time it was viewed as something akin to a bold new era for the England one-day side. In reality, it was nothing of the sort.
