ESSEX will be without fast bowler Jamie Porter for the remainder of The Royal London Cup.
Porter suffered a side strain while playing against Middlesex last weekend.
He said: “I’m disappointed but I guess that’s part of being a sportsman. I’ll now be doing everything I can to get fit and get back out on the field as soon as possible.”
