NEXT year, the inaugural Over-40s World Cup takes place in South Africa, and last week I played in the first-ever Over-40s ODI, England against Wales at Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
There was a lot of passion and pride on display – even though we are all over 40. Everyone loved it and played hard, and I’m glad to say we were victorious.
It was a very formal occasion at first, with the national anthems, and a few speeches.
