RAVI Bopara smashed 144 off just 49 balls as Sussex’s second XI put up a total of 324-7 against Middlesex at Richmond Cricket Club on Tuesday – in a T20 match.
The former Middlesex, Essex and England big-hitter, now 38, hit 12 sixes and 14 fours from No.4, receiving support from Tom Alsop (55 off 27 balls) and George Garton (53 off 20 balls).
Taking 3-51 off his four overs, Ishaan Kaushal was Middlesex’s most economical bowler.
