Annie Chave asks why the One Day Cup cannot be played with a red ball

Last month I travelled over 300 miles to watch a Metro Bank One Day Cup match between Lancashire and Durham at the much-celebrated Sedbergh School.
My friends and I have this ridiculous compulsion to visit as many grounds as we can, especially iconic ones, and this game heralded the start of the cup and provided us with a perfect opportunity.
