For the first time in four years of The Hundred, Southern Brave women won’t be in action in the knockout stages.
It’s not only a massive turnaround for a side with a 100% record of making the tournament’s final, but it’s also the second of three trophies won last year that the Utilita Bowl have had to relinquish custody of this summer.
Throughout the regional system, established the year before The Hundred’s inaugural season, the Vipers-Brave combination has dominated the women’s domestic landscape.
