What a start Jamie Smith has made to his Test career.
After keeping tidily and sparkling with the bat against West Indies, he was deservedly named Player of the Match at Old Trafford after scoring his maiden hundred and then making crucial runs in the fourth innings as England overcame a spirited Sri Lankan side.
