Nissanka exposes England’s naivety

Pathum Nissanka’s century to inflict a first Test defeat of the summer on England was fabulous to watch.
To make a run-a-ball century in a run chase, and make it look like a stroll in the park, was a phenomenal effort.
The opener looks to have wonderful technique, terrific temperament and every shot in the book.
For Sri Lanka to win a Test match with a four-strong pace attack and no specialist spinner is an extraordinary achievement in itself, and they can be very proud of the way they hung in there and then seized their moment.
