JAMIE Porter may PICTURES: PA images have been overshadowed by teammate Simon Harmer so far this campaign but feels he is firing on all cylinders once again as Essex bid for a place in the Bob Willis Trophy final.
By most people’s standards Porter’s 2019, which saw him take 48 Championship wickets at an average of 25 - the eighth most in Division One, would be more than respectable.
But the 27-year-old is an exceptional talent and holds himself in much higher esteem.
