We’ve all been there, desperately searching for a distraction from exam revision, but Will Sheffield found a better one than most.
Last year, the left-arm seamer got a call from Sussex inviting him on the first team’s pre-season tour to South Africa.
In Cape Town, he was presented with the opportunity to play some two-day games against Hampshire and work alongside seasoned internationals such as Luke Wright, David Weise, Stiaan van Zyl as well as coach Jason Gillespie.
