After a solid if uninspiring 2024, Glamorgan’s plans were thrown into crisis when it was announced in December that Grant Bradburn, their Kiwi head coach, had been sacked after being charged with misconduct by the independent cricket regulator.
Richard Dawson arrives on a one-year deal to steady the ship but he will have his work cut out if he is to steer the club to promotion as he did with Gloucestershire.
