Hampshire’s season didn’t quite reach the heights of the recent past and for the second campaign in a row they ended trophyless.
That said, they finished second in the Championship after defeating Somerset in the last game. Last time they finished that high was back in 2005 under the leadership of the late and great Shane Warne.
