HARPENDEN club captain Nick Lamb is hoping a congratulatory call from New Zealand legend Brendon McCullum can help kick-start his side’s season, following their emphatic 141-run win over Potters Bar on Saturday.
The 33-year-old took 7-16 to guide his side to just their second win of the season in the top tier of the Hertfordshire Premier League, and his performance was duly acknowledged by McCullum in a message posted on Twitter.
