INDIA DEFEATED New Zealand to win the ICC Champions Trophy final in Dubai
India secured their third ICC Champions Trophy title after defeating New Zealand by four wickets in Dubai. 76 from skipper Rohit Sharma was the leading light of the run chase, while there was also 48 from Shreyas Iyer and a crucial 34 not out from KL Rahul, before Ravindra Jadeja (9 not out) hit the winning runs to see India home with an over to spare and beat the Kiwis for the second time in the tournament.
