Setback: James Anderson has been ruled out of the Ashes
JIMMY Anderson’s bid to prove his fitness for the remaining two Ashes Tests failed as he pulled up during Lancashire’s 2nd XI game with Durham.
Anderson has not featured for England since the first Test at Edgbaston when he left the field with a calf injury after bowling just four overs.
