THE WEST of England Premier Division title race is hotting up, with Potterne level of on points with Clevedon and the sides were the only teams to record a win last weekend.
Potterne skipper Neil Clark praised the performance of batter Jake Goodwin whose 55 not out guided the side to an eight-wicket victory over Taunton Deane.
Clark said: “He’s got in a lot of times, but I said to him in the week that he needs to take a bit more responsibility and if he does get in, he needs to be in at the end and winning us games.
