HEINO KUHN’S appointment as captain has heightened my expectations for Kent to taste success in multiple formats this season.
I do not doubt Paul Downton when he says Kuhn won the respect of the dressing room last season – he was simply superb with the bat throughout the summer.
We just fell short of promotion in the County Championship last season; we don’t hold a torch to the finances of Warwickshire and Worcestershire, but boast some of the country’s great young cricketers.
