ENGLAND have been rocked by a fresh injury blow to Olly Stone that now makes the fast bowler a serious doubt for this winter’s Ashes series.
Stone sustained a stress fracture of the lower left back during England’s defeat by New Zealand at Edgbaston last week and has been ruled out for the rest of the summer – including the five-Test series against India starting in August that is the final preparation for Joe Root’s men ahead of the Ashes.
