DARYL Mitchell became a record-breaker as Worcestershire Rapids beat Derbyshire Falcons by 14 runs.
The 37-year-old became the first Worcestershire man to take 100 T20 wickets to help his side ruin Jade Dernbach’s Derbyshire debut.
The visitors made 167-6 at Derby after 43 from Brett D’Oliveira and 37 off 21 from ex-Derbyshire all-rounder Ross Whiteley set the tone.
Meanwhile, former England seamer Dernbach impressed with the ball to take 3-23 in his debut on loan from Surrey.
