PAUL Collingwood thinks the addition of Liam Livingstone to England’s “scary” batting line-up will give opposition teams nightmares ahead of this autumn’s T20 World Cup.
Livingstone announced himself on the world stage with a remarkable 42-ball century – the fastest for England in any format – in Friday night’s opening T20 international against Pakistan.
It wasn’t enough to prevent Eoin Morgan’s World Cup favourites slipping to a 31-run defeat at Trent Bridge but did offer more evidence that England will be the team to beat in the UAE later this year.
