HARRY Brook hit an unbeaten 47 and John Simpson crashed the winning six as Northern Superchargers claimed a thrilling first men’s Hundred victory at the expense of Oval Invincibles at Emerald Headingley.
The Superchargers varied attack, led by Adil Rashid’s 3-13, prospered in sluggish conditions to restrict the Invincibles to 127-6, including 27 off the last eight balls.
