HAMPSHIRE Hawks beat Notts Outlaws in a T20 quarter-final for the third time in ten years as an unlikely two-run victory propelled them to Finals Day.
Brad Wheal had Dane Paterson caught behind for the final wicket with two balls left to bowl as the Hawks snatched victory from the jaws of defeat at Trent Bridge, bowling out their hosts for 123.
Liam Dawson shone with the ball with 3-24 from his four overs, dismissing both Joe Clarke (42) and Alex Hales (19) after the openers had got Notts off to a flyer.
