GRANT Stewart’s match-defining spell could have greater significance for Kent beyond an impressive victory against Derbyshire.
The all-rounder seized his opportunity with the new ball to set up a third consecutive win that was sealed five balls after tea on the final day.
Stewart bowled with pace and accuracy to take five wickets in Derbyshire’s first innings and followed that with the first two after the home side was set a target of 341 in 85 overs.
