ABDULLAH Shafique scored his maiden Test double hundred, Agha Salman struck an unbeaten 132 and Noman Ali took figures of 7-70 as Pakistan completed a comprehensive victory in the second Test against Sri Lanka at Colombo.
Shafique made 201 off 326 balls as Pakistan piled on the pain after bowling Sri Lanka out for 166 in the first innings. The visitors’ total of 576-5 was insurmountable as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 188 in reply, slumping to an innings and 222-run defeat and a 2-0 series loss.
