THE CURTAIN has fallen on the inaugural Major League Cricket tournament in the United States with Nicholas Pooran striking a blistering 137no from 55 balls in the final to lead MI New York to victory over Seattle Orcas in Dallas.
MI New York were chasing 184 to win the tournament after Quinton De Kock lit up the first innings, blazing his way to 87 from 52 balls. Rashid Khan performed predictably well with the ball, taking 3-9 from his four overs, while Trent Boult also claimed three scalps.
