LEICESTERSHIRE Foxes clinched their place in the knock-out stages of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup with a 23-run victory in a rain-affected contest.
In a day-night match reduced to 47 overs per side after the start was delayed, further rain caused the contest to be abandoned after 40 overs of Leicestershire’s innings, at which point the Foxes were 173 for 5 chasing 192 for victory.
