JASPRIT Bumrah marked his first game in nearly a year with two wickets in his first over as India triumphed over Ireland in a rain-affected first T20I at Malahide on Friday by two runs on DLS.
Bumrah, who hadn’t played for India since last September due to a back injury that required surgery, dismissed Andrew Balbirnie and Lorcan Tucker in the first over of the match, claiming final figures of 2-24 as Ireland were reduced to 59-6.
