AUSTRALIA BATTER Tim David has been added to the squad for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa.
The 27-year-old has established himself in Australia’s T20I middle order and smashed 64 off just 28 balls in their 111-run win over the Proteas on Wednesday evening.
David has not played a List-A match since November 2021 but is a regular on the T20 league circuit and played for Southern Brave in The Hundred last month.
Australia’s five-match ODI series with South Africa begins on September 7.
