AFTER TWO crushing defeats, New Zealand finally found their way at Edgbaston. Finn Allen thumped away at the top of the order for 83, Glenn Phillips took control lower down with a 34-ball 69, and a bowling attack featuring the fresh faces of Matt Henry and Kyle Jamieson did the rest. The end result: a 74-run victory that was inevitable from the early moments of England’s innings.
