Marcus Stoinis produced a superb all-round performance to overcome plucky Oman in Australia’s 39-run win in Barbados.

The Aussies had stumbled to 50-3 after 8.3 overs when Stoinis entered the fray and the 34-year-old dispatched six sixes on his way to an unbeaten 67 from 36 balls, sharing a 102-run stand with David Warner, who made a more sedate 56 from 51, becoming his country’s leading T20I run-scorer in the process.
