Shakib shines to keep Bangladesh on course

Shakib Al Hasan starred with a half-century as Bangladesh claimed a crucial 25-run victory over the Netherlands in Kingstown, St Vincent to take a big step towards qualification for the Super 8s.
Shakib, 37, has played in every T20 World Cup since the tournament’s inception in 2007 and he used all his experience in compiling an unbeaten 64 from 46 deliveries to steer his team to 159-5, with Tanzid Hasan (35 from 26) and Mahmudullah (25 from 21) also chipping in.
