Five-star Hosein skittles Uganda

AFTER THE high of their first-ever World Cup victory, Uganda were brought back down to earth with a bump by West Indies, who subjected them to a 134-run thrashing in Guyana.
In reply to the hosts’ 173-5, the Cricket Cranes, who had defeated Papua New Guinea at the same venue three days earlier, could only manage 39, equalling the record for the lowest score at a Men’s T20 World Cup.
Left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein was their chief destroyer, taking 5-11 to become the first West Indian male to take a five-wicket haul in a T20 World Cup.
