FORMER ENGLAND batter Mark Ramprakash has joined a chorus of past players urging England’s top brass to bring “deep thinker” Andy Flower back into the men’s white-ball set-up following the departure of Matthew Mott.
The ECB hope to appoint a successor to Mott ahead of a packed winter schedule, with white-ball tours scheduled in West Indies and India either side of the new year, and the ICC Champions Trophy scheduled for Pakistan in February.
