Smith stars for Washington Freedom
STEVE SMITH hit 88 from 52 balls as Washington Freedom defeated San Francisco Unicorns by 96 runs in the Major League Cricket final in Dallas.
Freedom hit 207-5, Smith leading the way while Glenn Maxwell also smashed 40 from 22 balls. Pat Cummins took 2-35.
In reply, Unicorns were 111 all out, Rachin Ravindra (3-23) and Marco Jansen (3-28) doing the damage.
