TWO “LONG BALL” deliveries (balls bowled from around 25 yards rather than 22) by Scotland spinner Mark Watt in the first T20I between Scotland and Australia at The Grange sparked conversation and controversy after being called as dead balls.
The first of these saw Josh Inglis bowled after stepping away, appearing rushed by Watt. Many viewers deemed it as a fair delivery and claimed that Inglis should have been dismissed as a result.
