Big job: Gavin Hamilton will take the reins at Yorkshire

YORKSHIRE have appointed former all-rounder Gavin Hamilton, who played a single Test for England in 1999, as their new general manager.
He replaces Darren Gough, who was director of cricket until earlier this year, although he will also oversee the women’s team.
Hamilton, 50, represented Scotland at two ODI World Cups and two World T20s. He was also part of the Yorkshire squad that won the Championship title in 2001. He later played for Durham.
