IT’S A DECADE since the tournament was held, but the return of the T20 Champions League is ‘inevitable’ as franchise owners look to cash in on the popularity of the sport’s most lucrative format.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a former senior figure at the ICC, told The Cricket Paper that the increasingly global reach of the IPL owners will lead to the Champions League returning.
