Weatherley sends wake-up call over scheduling issues

ONE WELL-KNOWN former cricketer from the 1980s once confided to The Cricket Paper that it was “something approaching a miracle” that more cricketers weren’t involved in late-night car crashes as they dashed from fixture to fixture in a gigantic game of catch-up with no real winners.
Now Hampshire’s Joe Weatherley wonders if we have reached a similar point.
