TRADITIONALLY, Yorkshire since their formation in 1863, have seldom favoured leg spinners – too expensive and risky – and have preferred instead the safer options of off-spin and slow left armers.
So when in the current campaign in the Royal London Cup, Yorkshire picked not one but two specialist leg spinners, Adil Rashid and Josh Poysden in the same side,it was a rare event.
