Liam makes Taunton pay for drop

THEY say that catches win matches and Taunton St Andrews were made to pay for dropping Goatacre and Hampshire allrounder Liam Dawson.
Goatacre were reduced to 32- 4 chasing the Saints’ 196 all out when brothers Liam and Bradley came together and added 111.
That partnership could have been over just eight runs in had Taunton taken their chance with Liam eventually dismissed for 83 off 88 balls.
Goatacre remain in the relegation zone despite their victory but are now just 13 points behind the Saints with four games left.
