WHEN you play for Essex and share your surname with the former England captain and a county legend, it is not easy to make a name for yourself – but Sam Cook is doing just that.
With Alastair Cook’s nickname ‘Chef’, it seemed inevitable that the 20-year-old fast bowler would be known as ‘Little Chef’ and he caught the eye again in last week’s remarkable clash with Yorkshire.
